Business Lounge

Located in the heart of the Business School, this space is a vibrant hub for real businesses to work, collaborate and network. Plus, it gives students like you the opportunity to meet and make an impression on decision-makers, laying the foundations for your future - all on campus.

Allam Lecture Theatre

The Business School has one of the largest lecture theatres on campus. Comfortable surroundings and up-to-date equipment make this a fantastic environment for learning. The theatre also often plays host to outside speakers and special guests.

Computer Suites

As well as getting access to the shared computer suites across campus, Business School students have their own dedicated facilities. There are three in total, with one dedicated to our Bloomberg suite, and with the largest suite available to everyone. You may even find that some of your lectures will be held here, which is a great way to enhance your learning.

Databases

We're subscribed to several industry-standard databases which enhance your learning and research activities. Although most of these are of particular benefit to accounting, finance and economics students, many are accessible to all. We're currently subscribed to Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters EIKON, Orbis and FAME.

Our Spaces

The Business School has a range of flexible spaces to accommodate learning and business needs. Our Executive Education Suite contains four rooms, most of which are fully AV equipped, and the Business Lounge is a great break-out area for informal meetings. There are many other bookable rooms throughout the Business School, so you're never short of a space to get things done.

Derwent Cafe

The Derwent Cafe sits right at the heart of the Business School. It's a great place to catch up over a coffee or take a break from studying. Head to the beautiful Grade II listed Derwent Building for a relaxed, calming venue serving delicious hot and cold snacks and tempting afternoon treats. Derwent Cafe is also a Fair Trade cafe.
