Hotel Accomodation

Two hotels have been selected to accomodate the delegates for their stay at this years conference. Both hotel packages include Bed & Breakfast. The hotels are as follows:

The Quality Hotel Royal is ideally located in the City Centre, adjacent to Hull Railway Station and within easy reach of the M62 motorway, Hull Marina is less than three minutes away on foot.

The Quality Hotel Royal located in the heart of the wonderful maritime city of Hull, a destination with a difference and a wonderful base from which to explore East Yorkshire. A combination of old and new, from the cobbled streets of the Old Town to the extensive and unique Princess Quay Shopping Centre. The Marina forms an elegant focal point, along with the City's magnificent selection of museums.

Delegates may choose to relax in the Quality Living Leisure Centre. The facilities are complimentary to all hotel guests and include: indoor heated pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, gym, steam room and sunbed.

The Comfort Inn Hull is also located in the City Centre, near to Hull Railway Station and within easy reach of the M62 motorway, Hull Marina is less than three minutes away on foot.

Since the hotel is located in the city centre guests staying at the hotel can enjoy the extensive and the unique Princess Quay Shopping Centre, which incorporates all the shops and facilities you'd expect, and is built over the old Victoria Dock, giving a wonderful view and atmosphere. Located around Princess Quay are various types of shops/cafes and bars, leading the way to a wonderful day of shopping and relaxing. The Marina forms an elegant focal point, along with the City's magnificent selection of Museums, all just minutes walking distance from the Hotel. Hull has a wonderful reputation across the country for its nightlife, this is backed up by the various streets in and around the town centre lined with pubs and clubs.


Conference Venue

The conference centre shall be Staff House, situated on campus at The University of Hull. Staff House regularly houses conferences and meetings due to the availability of spacious conference suites.

Travel

The city of Hull is within easy reach of the motorway network. The estimated travel time from Humberside International Airport is 30 minutes. The airport itself is 20.3 miles from Hull.

A shuttle service shall be provided to and from the airport on Sunday 29th June 2003 and Wednesday 2nd July 2003.

The University of Hull is within easy reach from the city centre. Transport shall be provided for delegates to and from the hotels and the University of Hull to attend the daily conferences.
