CONCORDANCE: SAMPLE PAGES

The 820 pages of the Concordance will be made available on CD-ROM for the actual publication with Brepols Publishers.

To illustrate the layout of the Concordance four sample pages have been scanned in (letter K).

Note that the loading for the scanned pages of the Concordance may take a considerable time if your machine or your internet link is slow.

• the Concordance is a KWIC Concordance (Key Word In Context) listing the word forms in the middle of the page, with context before and after.

• the word forms are the same as listed in the Alphabetical Frequency and Finding List.

• for the principles of alphabetisation used, especially with regard to the abbreviations and special codicological signs see the Coding List. A general explanation is provided with the Alphabetical Frequency and Finding List.

• the Concordance provides the following references:

1. the folio and line number followed, if relevant, by
2. authorship code, e.g. NO for 'Noydekin', see C: Index of Authors, and / or,
3. indication of a parallel passage in KB 128 E 2 (=), see D1: Index of Parallel Passages, and / or
4. indication of a parallel passage in another manuscript (+), see E1: Index of Parallel Passages in Other Manuscripts,
5. Poem and line number in the present edition, followed by
6. Poem and line number in the Kossmann edition (preceded by 'K')
