This site deals with Dante reception from the eignteenth century. Many of the sites listed below will be of interest, though they may address different periods. The Blake and Flaxman illustrations both grow out of Henry Boyd's translation. Boyd's Inferno appeared in 1785 (Dublin and London). His complete Comedy came out in 1802.
