General Information on Rural Transport Issues in the East Riding of Yorkshire

transport

According to the definition of "rural" given by the Rural Development Commission and the National Council for Voluntary Organisations, a large amount of the East Riding of Yorkshire can be classified as rural. One of the most important rural issues is that of transport. The provision of poor public transport is often an additional feature of rural life and can cause rural areas to become isolated.
