Rural issues are being addressed by Yorkshire Forward the regional development agency for Yorkshire and the Humber. Its aim is to revitalise the regions economy and as a result has supplied funding to help rural issues such as converting redundant buildings for modern business purposes and helping regenerate the areas depleting rural tourist economy.
