Information on Agriculture
Agricultural land covers a total area of 1,177,057ha in the East Riding of Yorkshire, with the majority of land use being split between arable and grassland. This makes up over 12% of the total agricultural land in England and therefore shows its importance within the region and within the whole of the country.
