Wetland Archaeology & Environments Research Centre
WAERC is the new name for the Centre for Wetland Archaeology (CWA)
which has operated from the Geography Department at the University
of Hull for a number of years. The core activities of the CWA continue
at the University of Hull, with WAERC operating as a regional, national
and international centre of excellence for wetland research. Link

Archaeology Data Service
The Archaeology Data Service (ADS) supports research, learning and teaching with high quality and dependable digital resources. It does this by preserving digital data in the long term, and by promoting and disseminating a broad range of data in archaeology. The ADS promotes good practice in the use of digital data in archaeology, it provides technical advice to the research community, and supports the deployment of digital technologies. Link to ADS.
The Archaeological Sites Index

Historical Manuscripts Commission
The Royal Commission on Historical Manuscripts, generally known
as the Historical Manuscripts Commission (HMC), was set up by in
1869 to enquire and report on collections of papers of value for
the study of British history in private and institutional hands.
In 1959 a new warrant enlarged these terms of reference to include
all British historical records, wherever situated, outside the Public
Records and gave it added responsibilities as a central coordinating
body to promote, assist and advise on their proper preservation
and storage. Link
