South Yorkshire Badger Group
(SYBG)
The SYBG was formed over in the summer of 1985 and aims to protect the badger and its environment throughout South Yorkshire. Members of the Group actively participate in a variety of conservation projects aimed at protecting Badger Setts and a range of projects to assist farmers and landowners in the conservation of Badgers on their land. Countryside Society
The Society is a group of people who have a general interest in
the countryside and the natural environment surrounding Hornsea
and North Holderness. The aim is to promote public awareness of
the continuing need to conserve the natural flora and fauna that
remain in this area. Link

Royal Society for the Protection
of Birds (RSPB)
The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds works for a healthy environment rich in birds and wildlife; it depends on the support and generosity of others to make a difference. Link to RSPB.
East Yorkshire Members Group of the RSPB
RSPB Local Groups exist all over Britain to promote the RSPB, support conservation work and provide regional meetings and activities for RSPB members. The East Yorkshire Group was founded in 1986 and in that time has raised thousands of pounds for the RSPB, run Seabird Cruises every summer from Bridlington, helped out at RSPB and other conservation events and held Field Trips every month except August and Indoor Meetings throughout the winter. Volunteers from the Group also assist at Bempton Cliffs, our local RSPB reserve. The members range from experienced birdwatchers to those totally new to bird watching.
