Subaqua
The Holderness coast offers great diving sites. Due mainly to the fact that the Yorkshire coast is bordered by large ports on both the Tees & Humber estuaries, this area of coastline has had a high concentration of shipwrecks, many from the First & Second World Wars.
This area of the coast has some excellent wrecks to dive, most are in the 30-50 metre range a few are shallower but many of these have been commercially salvaged. The deep wrecks offer challenging diving conditions, 5 metres visibility on a good day and nil when an easterly wind has ripped up the sediment.
