Recreation in the Parish of Bridlington

Subaqua

The Holderness coast offers great diving sites. Due mainly to the fact that the Yorkshire coast is bordered by large ports on both the Tees & Humber estuaries, this area of coastline has had a high concentration of shipwrecks, mainly from the First & Second World Wars.

Link to information on thirteen dive sites within Bridlington Bay. Depths vary from a few meters for the Scenic dives around the south side of Flamborough Head, to over 60 metres for some of the offshore wrecks.

More general information on Subaqua can be found by searching under the Recreation topic above.
