Diagnosis

The DIAGNOSIS section of the Clinical Biosciences Institute (ClinBio) encompasses a diverse range of research being conducted by groups in many departments including Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Hull York Medical School and the Postgraduate Medical Institute.  The research groups aim to understand the fundamental mechanisms underlying the development of cancer and cardiovascular diseases.  Such findings will provide invaluable information in identifying early markers of the disease processes and new rationales for therapeutic treatment.
