The clinical centre for MRI research is equipped with three state of the art scanners (3.0 Tesla and 2 x 1.5 Tesla) and is sited on an acute NHS Trust site.  The University has recently established a Biological MRI facility which includes a 500MHz wide-bore (11.8 Tesla) Bruker machine.
