CCCD

About CCCD

Global social and economic change has brought with it uneven processes of development between and within countries.  The introduction of free market economies and liberal forms of representative democracy have not reversed the growing relative impoverishment of many poorer parts of the world.

It is a critical task for researchers and policy-makers to analyse the processes of global social and economic change within a comparative framework, and bring their insights to bear on the policy and political process.

CCCD is a multidisciplinary research centre at the University of Hull which takes this as its mission. It draws on a range of key disciplines including (but not limited to):

bullet

Social sciences
