How to get here

Travel by air, rail and bus

Exeter International Airport is located approximately 6 miles from the University of Exeter, Streatham Campus. There is a regular shuttle bus service to Exeter Bus Station. Alternatively taxis can be taken directly to the University campus.

The Bus Station in Exeter is located on Paris Street, approximately 1 mile from the Streatham Campus. There is a local bus service (D Bus) that runs from the High Street (a short walk from the Bus Station) to the Streatham Campus every 30 minutes.

The railway station closest to the Streatham Campus is Exeter St David's. This is served by main line routes. There is no direct bus route from St David's to the campus, but there is a taxi rank outside the station. Taxis to the University will cost approximately £5.00.

The station is approximately ¾ mile from the Streatham Campus (15 minute walk). Come out of the station and walk to the main road, cross at the pelican crossing and turn left and then immediately right along a narrow path (Clements Lane), signposted as the pedestrian route to the city centre. At the top of the hill, cross the road and walk up Howell Road. Turn left on to New North Road, and finally turn right on to Prince of Wales Road and the University Campus.

Travel by Car and parking

If you are travelling from the M5 leave at Junction 29. Turn right onto A3015 following the signs for the City Centre. At traffic signals continue forward onto Honiton Road, with the Park and Ride on your left and the Met Office on your right. At Moor Lane roundabout take the second exit signposted City Centre. Take the next right and follow along this road until you join the B3181 ring road. Follow this road, under the footbridge, until the traffic lights at the junction with the B3212. At the traffic lights take the B3212 (Pinhoe Road) on your left to the city centre. Carry on along this road for approximately 1 mile. Go under the railway bridge, past Polsloe Bridge Station and carry on up the hill past St Mark's church on your left. Turn right at the set of traffic lights at the brow of the hill into Mount Pleasant Road. Continue along this road. At the next roundabout take the second exit (Union Road). Follow this road and go straight across at the traffic lights into Prince of Wales Road.

Follow along Prince of Wales Road, with the main University campus on your right until you see Streatham Drive on your right (there is an AA sign pointing to Holland Hall just before this turning). Turn right into Streatham Drive and follow this road, past some tennis courts on your right, and turn left into Clydesdale Avenue, and then right into Clydesdale Rise (also signposted Holland Hall). Follow Clydesdale Rise until you arrive at Holland Hall car park. Disabled Parking Spaces are available close to the residence and around the University campus.
