Wave

Wave was edited by Ted Tarling and published in eight issues by his Sonus Press in Hull between 1970 and 1974.  The archive contains typescripts of the poems printed in Wave, in most cases with covering letters from the poets.  Contributors included Philip Larkin, Anthony Thwaite, Peter Porter, Douglas Dunn and Elizabeth Jennings.  There are letters from Kingsley Amis, John Betjeman, David Holbrook, Joan Barton and others [DP/158].  There is a full set of Wave in the Library.
