Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship

Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship

Interested in an apprenticeship with us?

Our Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship enables apprentices to unlock their potential in the innovative and supportive learning environment of Hull University Business School. The programme combines the best of higher education with vocational learning. Apprentices receive substantial on-the-job training to complement their learning in the classroom. They study under the international experts who have helped our courses earn AACSB accreditation which is held by less than 5% of the world’s business programmes.

On successfully completing the course, employees receive an Honours degree – BA (Hons) Business Management – and Chartered Manager status from the Chartered Manager Institute (CMI). The programme content is structured and business-relevant, tailored to fit the needs of employers. It aims to develop best practice management which can result in a 23% increase in organisational performance and a 32% increase in people performance, according to the CMI.

Study

Apprentices study modules include marketing; accounting and finance; HR; business law and ethics; project management; international logistics; eBusiness; and managing people.

They are assessed by a variety of methods including essays, reports, group presentations, case studies, project work, dissertations, and in-class tests.

There is a review process at the end to attain CMI Chartered Manager status. This involves a portfolio of evidence including a work-based project, a presentation and a panel interview.
