About the course

This joint degree is ideal for those who want to enter the job market with a powerful set of tools to analyse business and economic operations. You'll study under research-active experts in our state-of-the-art business school which has international accreditation from AACSB, held by fewer than 5% of the world’s 13,000 business programmes. You could also boost your employability through the option of an extra year of professional experience, often with a top global business. Or you could spend a year studying at one of our partner institutions in Europe, Asia, North America or Australia.

Our staff are themselves helping to advance their subjects, bringing a particular edge to both learning and teaching. You not only become proficient in approaching problems like a seasoned economist, but adept at locating, extracting and analysing data from multiple sources to formulate and apply game-changing strategies. You also develop key transferable skills – valued by all employers – including leadership, communication and project management. Our alumni include Jeremy Darroch (Chief Executive of Sky plc), Muhtar Kent (Chairman and Chief Executive of Coca-Coca) and Robert Elstone (CEO of Everton Football Club).
