About the course
Primarily aimed at those working in an educational setting, this one-year top-up programme enables you to examine educational issues and generate new ways of thinking. Building on your prior knowledge and understanding, you’ll be encouraged to question the aims and values of educational systems and processes. Major themes include key issues in education and learning, equality and diversity, loss and bereavement awareness and death education, and anthropology and childhood.
Through problem-based learning, you’ll gain the ability to construct and sustain well-reasoned arguments and present these in a clear, evidence-based manner. This strong focus on problem-based learning means you’ll graduate with the confidence and ability to transfer this to your work environment.
