About the course

ONCAMPUS Hull teach pre-university and first-year programmes leading to a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

These programmes are designed for international students who do not meet the requirements for direct entry to university study, and benefit from the support offered in preparing students for their undergraduate or postgraduate programmes.

If you study at ONCAMPUS Hull, you are guaranteed progression to the University of Hull on successful completion of your Foundation programme.

Which course should I apply for?

Undergraduate Foundation Programme (UFP)

  • This programme is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate degree programmes at the University of Hull. All students who successfully complete the Undergraduate Foundation Programme and meet the selected entry criteria are guaranteed to progress onto a suitable programme of undergraduate study at the University of Hull. The Undergraduate Degree Programme is set at level 3, which is equivalent to A-level standard in the UK

International Year One (Engineering) (IY1)

  • This programme is designed for international students who do not quite have the academic grades and/or English level to start the first year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Hull, but have a stronger profile than an UFP student. If you successfully complete the IY1 you are guaranteed progression* to Year 2 of a range of Mechanical Engineering undergraduate degrees at the University of Hull.

Master's Foundation Programme

  • This programme is designed to prepare international students for postgraduate study in the UK. The Master’s Foundation Programme will allow students to improve their English while learning the study skills and research methods that students will need during their Master’s degree studies. Depending on the length of the programme study, students may also study academic modules relating to their chosen degree.
