NEBOSH Diplomas
The Institute offers two NEBOSH Diploma courses:
Part-Time Safety and Environmental Management Degree
Having completed the NEBOSH Occupational Health & Safety Practice and Environmental Management Diplomas, students can take a fourth year for the award of BSc (Honours) in Safety and Environmental Management.
NEBOSH National Certificate in Environmental Management
The Certificate is suitable for managers, supervisors and employees who have responsibility for managing environment issues as part of their day-to-day duties.
Postgraduate Certificate in Disaster and Emergencies
Management (DEM)
The Certificate has been designed to provide the knowledge and understanding to build the competence of professionals within the field of disaster and emergency management.
Postgraduate Certificate in REACH Management by Distance Learning
The course aims to provide a thorough working knowledge of all aspects of REACH and its implementation. It is delivered online as a distance learning package to enable complete flexibility for students. REACH is truly a global issue, and students from both within and outside of the EU are welcome.
One-Day
Workshops
The
Institute runs a number of one-day workshops on specific safety or environmental
topics. Previous workshops have included "Working at Heights Regulations", "Changes to the CDM
Regulations" and "Corporate Killing and the New Act". For more details and information on

Foundation Degree
The Department of Chemistry has been offering a valued
part-time Foundation Degree in Chemical Sciences by day-release for several
