Suzi joined the University of Hull in 2013 as a Partnership Area Tutor, working with schools during trainee placement periods.

She became the Y2 School Experience Co-ordinator for the Year 2 Primary Teaching students in 2016, working across all ITE programmes, including liaising with Alliances for School Direct.

Previously, Suzi spent several years teaching in Hull, leading the curriculum for PE and ICT in school and working through the leadership development programmes.

She completed her Primary PGCE at the University of Hull after obtaining a BA Honours degree in Applied Social Science.

  • Child health and wellbeing as a pre-requisite for successful education and personal achievement

Research groups

  • iBook development pilot, with a focus on supporting mentors in schools during placement, to enable enhanced trainee support
