Sue began her nursing career as a Registered General Nurse with clinical experience in adult intensive care and gastroenterology before undertaking registered sick children's nursing at the Evelina London Children's Hospital.

She has worked within general paediatric and intensive care units, both in the UK and Australia, specialising in paediatric liver disease.

Sue is currently Programme Director for BSc Nursing (Child) and delivers theory and practice modules within the programme.

She is also link lecturer for local service providers ensuring that support is available for both student and mentor within clinical placements.
