Michelle Kennedy has a wealth of knowledge and experience in both clinical nursing and teaching. She has held various clinical posts, most recently in the fields of trauma orthopaedics and anticoagulation.

Her most recent clinical posts featured a considerable focus on teaching and practice development which has led to an increased passion for both education and research.

This led Michelle to return to academia after four years as a practice development nurse in anticoagulation – something she remains passionate about.

From an educational perspective, Michelle is interested in research around the effects of social media on aspects of nurse education.
