Michelle held a number of senior nursing positions in a wide range of clinical specialities during her 31 year nursing career.

This enabled her to acquire an extensive portfolio of knowledge skills and experience which she is now passing on as a lecturer in adult nursing.

Since joining the University in 2015, she has based her teaching philosophy on an appreciation of the diversity of learning styles of students and the importance of facilitating a co-learning experience.

Michelle has her own group of personal supervision students with whom she aims to be accessible, responsive, considerate, encouraging and open to change.
