Grazia is currently a senior lecturer in inorganic chemistry at the University of Hull.

She obtained her Masters degree and PhD in Chemistry at the University of Parma and carried out post-doctoral work at the Universities of Birmingham and Nottingham.

Her research interests are in the area of solid state chemistry and inorganic materials, specifically on the preparation and characterisation of oxides and non-oxide materials (nitrides, sulphides and mixed-anion compounds).

More recently, Grazia has been involved with the preparation and characterisation of nanoparticles for biomedical applications and catalysis.
