Summary

Prior to joining the University of Hull, Lisa practised as a community midwife and as a supervisor of midwives. She now works within the midwifery team teaching across a range of programmes. She is programme director for the professional midwifery advocate course. Lisa's interests include women who misuse substances and the effects of this upon childbearing. She is currently working alongside colleagues writing a meta ethnographic paper on this topic.
