Kirsty joined the University of Hull in September 2014 as a personal supervisor to the School Direct trainee teachers and was appointed as a partnership area tutor (PAT) in September 2015.

She works as a PAT on a number of programmes, including UG, PG and School Direct, and is passionate about supporting the trainees to give them the best possible opportunities, experiences and guidance to become outstanding teachers of the future.

Kirsty has spent 17 years teaching in Hull and East Riding schools. She has been Assistant Head Teacher at two different schools and continues to work as a teacher at Inmans Primary School. She is a SLE in ITT and NQT.
