He taught in an 11-18 school in Staffordshire, as Head of Geography and Curriculum Enrichment Coordinator, for 25 years. Justin then went on to work as a consultant for the Geographical Association (GA) at their headquarters in Sheffield. He coordinated the Secondary Geography Quality Mark (SGQM) and now acts as a moderator of SGQM applications received from schools. Justin has led numerous GA courses focusing on subject leadership in schools and acted as a GCSE Chief Examiner from 2004-2017.
