Julie, a cognitive psychologist with interests in numerical cognition and the scholarship research of learning and teaching, joined the University as a psychology lecturer in January 2012.

Appointed in 2017 as Director of Learning and Teaching for the School of Life Sciences, she is committed to developing, supporting and implementing delivery of high quality teaching across the school's three subject areas.

As Programme Lead for BSc Psychology, Julie works with colleagues and students to continuously develop and successfully co-ordinate delivery of our main BPS-accredited psychology programme.
