An expert in physical education, teacher education and mentoring, Julia currently leads the University's teacher education subject group.

She delivers modules across the teacher education undergraduate and postgraduate portfolio, as well as supporting our extensive school partnership work and continuing professional development offer.

Internationally, Julia has supported teacher education and development in Cyprus, Ireland and Singapore.

Her publications focus on physical education and teacher education, and she works with practitioners to drive forward the embedding of an evidence-based focus to teacher education.
