Economics offers insights into issues such as the global economic crises, house prices, tax setting by governments and Third World debt. But you'll also learn how to apply an economist's way of thinking and analysing problems to the decisions that we all make in our everyday lives. Economics is about ‘human and organisational behaviour and choices’ covering ‘microeconomics – individuals, firms, government’ and ‘macroeconomics – the economy as a whole’.
