Equipment
This major installation is complemented by a state-of-the-art suite of monitoring and control equipment
that maximises the research scope and potential of the flume apparatus. It enables:
- High resolution monitoring of both temporal and spatial dynamics of flows over
rough boundaries.
- Monitoring of sediment fluxes.
- Monitoring of the temporal and spatial dynamics of pollutant dispersion and the
transport of others solutes.
- High-spatial resolution monitoring of changes in the bed surface topography of
rough boundaries.
